BACKGROUND

Filipa was born in Lisbon. After graduation from Interior Design Course at Fundação Ricardo Espírito Santo Silva she joined the Architect Arsénio Raposo Cordeiro's team to work in the interior design project of Caixa Geral de Depósitos Head Quarters in Lisbon (Portuguese National Bank). Her work in interior design was further developped at Atelier Graça Viterbo, where she worked in several hotel interior design projects as assistant designer.
In 1992 she established her own practice - Atelier Filipa Lacerda - to work on the renovation of Hotel Praia Mar, in Carcavelos, her first public space project and the first of many projects to come.

In April 2015 she opened her own shop - NOTO LISBOA in Lisbon.
